Dear GA-OMS colleagues,
The business agenda was quite busy at this year’s AAOMS House of Delegates, held in Las Vegas last month. Our District 3 caucus met in Atlanta in August for our pre-AAOMS summer meeting which included reports from representatives of OMSPAC, OMSF, ABOMS, a Trustee report from Dr. Robert Clark, and allowed for review and comments on the various resolutions that originated from various AAOMS committees or the Board of Trustees. This meeting also offered the opportunity for the district to compose and submit additional resolution(s) prior to the HOD sessions. I have included in this email an attachment which lists the actions of the 2016 House of Delegates. I will provide a brief commentary on a select few of the passed resolutions.
